Reducing opportunities for human error

Safety critical systems require careful consideration of human capabilities and tolerance of potential failures in order to achieve high reliability. Industry regulators increasingly require Operating Companies to demonstrate how their asset risk assessments have identified and controlled human failure risk to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).
